stay away, you will be troubling like me...

They have issued the refund approx. $90.. it is about 70 days and I have not received it yet.
I have contacted them many times, no CS is connecting in live chat, and I do not have positive response from them... I recommend to other to stay away, you will be troubling like me.. I was hoping a positive response, but no, no support for the users in trouble (obviously) when they need :(

I was unable to access my websites

I was unable to access my websites, so I contacted HostGator support. Shrithika was able to quickly resolve my issue and was very courteous and professional. The fast solution was much appreciated!

Really bad Hosting at all

Really bad Hosting at all, i'm Client from 2018 in HostGator.com, my website is down from 1 week ago and the support team have not any idea to fix my problem with the sub-domain issues from there server.

Bad Hosting , Down Server , i told the support team that the server is very bad and i need to change it, they told me that we fix it, but it is not...

HostGator 2018 is better than Today.

I am semi illiterate in this stuff and…

I am semi illiterate in this stuff and I rely on support to stop the errors, glitches, and downtime. This time it was WP not accepting the log in and wanting to get a new password. I tried connecting to support yesterday without getting good results but today I managed to get help from an agent who changed my password and login to ones that worked immediately. Thank You Gator.

Best of Breed Customer Service

I called customer service, because I hadn't logged into my Hostgator account in over a year and forgot how to login or use Cpanel. Jomar in Customer Service was extremely knowledgeable and patient and helped me login and led me through how to delete existing (unused) domains, adding new domains and subdomains and answered at least a dozen questions. I've been with Hostgator since the early 2000's and have called them on Week Days, Weekends, Holidays, 24/7/365 and they ALWAYS answer and provide consistent, best of breed customer service. I highly recommend.

Anjali saved the day

Anjali saved the day. Anjali was very quick to respond to my concern and was able to help me verify my domain in just a few minutes. It took me three hours trying to figure out how to do it myself and completely forgot that HostGator actually has a dedicated support team 24/7. Will definitely recommend.

It's easy to develop a website at hostgator because you'll never be stuck even if it's your first time to develop a website. There will always be someone to help you 24/7.

How easy is it to get a hold of customer service at HostGator?

If you go straight to smartchat, it is very easy - you only need to find the smartchat button. I have worked with the Internet since web browsers were invented, so I know most of the answers already. That means that when I have a problem that I can't solve, it is going to be a real stinker for HostGator support to solve - I only bring them the difficult ones. Recently, I had an ISP who gave me terrible service, and the internet kept dropping out every few minutes. The Hostgator smartchat expert kept contact with me on and of for about an hour and three quarters until he had worked out the answer for me. That is what I call RELIABLE service.

Are there other similar companies to HostGator that are less expensive or better?

Do not know something similar. Actually Hostgator is one of its kind! Partners of mine use Hostgator, too!

I wouldn't trust a company that was much cheaper - as far as I can remember I'm paying less than $5 per year, and I have several websites included in that deal. It used to be that you couldn't use a credit card for less than $5, so it would be ridiculous to spend hours looking for someone who charged $2.50
